Terms of Consent
By submitting this form to apply for membership in the Youth Leadership Council (YLC), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Eligibility: You affirm that you meet the eligibility criteria specified by Climate Roots for YLC membership, including age requirements and any other qualifications outlined in the application materials.
- Commitment: You understand that membership in the YLC requires a commitment to actively participate in council meetings, events, projects, and other activities as outlined by Climate Roots. You agree to dedicate time and effort to fulfill your responsibilities as a YLC member.
- Confidentiality: You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared within the YLC meetings and communications, including but not limited to discussions about organizational strategies, member concerns, and future plans.
- Respect: You agree to treat fellow YLC members, Climate Roots staff, volunteers, all community members, and all individuals with respect, dignity, and courtesy at all times. You will refrain from engaging in behavior that may be considered disrespectful, discriminatory, or harmful to others.
- Collaboration: You understand that effective collaboration and teamwork are essential for the success of the YLC and Climate Roots as a whole. You agree to actively participate in collaborative efforts, contribute constructively to discussions, and support fellow members in achieving shared goals.
- Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable policies and guidelines governing the organization.
- Voluntary Participation: You acknowledge that participation in the YLC is voluntary and that you have the right to withdraw from the Council; however, application commits you to one full year of service.
