Why Entrepreneurs for Planet Earth?
Climate change affects everyone, and we need everyone to help fight it. This competition invites students to join the fight against climate change and create innovative solutions that help the planet and its people.
Who can participate?
This competition is open to all middle and high schoolers (6th – 12th). Contestants can register in teams of up to 3 members or individually and submit their videos here.
What should I include in my pitch?
Lean Business Model and Business Model Canvas are widely used to organize and structure pitches. You may use those as a starting point or build something custom. We’ve also created some example pitch videos for you to watch and a downloadable template pitch deck to get you started. If you prefer Google Slides, the template is available here.
Do we require you to build the prototype?
We’re not saying you have to go full mad scientist and build a prototype of your business idea…but we’re not not saying it either. Go ahead and build a prototype, and you might score some extra points in the competition.
Who are our judges?
Our judging panel is a carefully selected group from industry and academia. They will officially be announced on the home page, so stay tuned to see who’s got the final say on your brilliant ideas!
What are the prizes?
The first-place team will win $1000, the second-place team will win $500, and the third-place team will win $300. Each team will also receive gifts from our sponsors.
