Community Manager (Discord)
We want to empower people with information about regenerative agricultural practices, sustainable living, and how technology can be an asset not a deterrent. Our discord channel is a collaborative tool that allows our community to co-create articles and contribute content related to topics such as home gardening, agricultural technology, and environmental stewardship. As the Community Manager for Climate Roots discord, your role is to support our online community and help it grow and thrive, as well as serve as a liaison between the community members and our team.
Expected time commitment: 1-2 hours/week.

Content Producer (multiple positions)
Our website and social media are in important information resource for our community. With an ever-growing list of contributors and articles, we want to ensure that the information shared on our social media meets our editorial standards and is aligned with our education goals. As a Content Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing your specific content area which may be a topic area, a section of the website, or in some cases, a single page.
Expected time commitment: 1-2 hours/week.

Grant Writer
We are looking for a Grant Writer to develop compelling philanthropic grant proposals in support of our mission. The Grant Writer will lead and steward the management of the proposal pipeline to provide a steady stream of prospective funders for established and emerging campaigns and/or projects.

Communications Lead – Student Outreach
The goal of the Communications Lead for Student Outreach is to bring in peer support to students already engaged with the Climate Roots’ projects. Typical activities for the Communications Lead include reaching out and building relationships with school-based environmental and gardening groups, hosting information sessions for students interested in volunteering with Climate Roots, and managing relationships with teachers/mentors supporting the student groups.

Video Production
Specialist
We are looking for someone with passion for live streaming and studio production to join our Content Team. The video production specialist will be responsible for working with our staff and volunteers to create content for our YouTube channel, live streaming, and recording webinars. The ideal candidate has experience working with live streaming equipment (audio and video) and postproduction software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
Expected time commitment: 3-4 hours/week.
